Troopland is a large parcel of rugged, primitive land owned by Troop 625. It is located near Chestnut
Ridge and has the same interesting geography, with cliffs, steep gullies, and a
large stream for getting wet.
Directions to Troopland:
Take Rt-90 West (the Thruway) to Rt. 219.
Take Rt. 219 to
Armor-Duells Corners exit. It's the next one after Orchard Park.
Turn right on
Rt. 240.
Cross Rt. 277 (Union Rd.) continue to Davis Rd.
Turn right on Davis Rd.
(Rt. 240) through the Village of West Falls to Knapp Road, which is across the
street from Tamerack Ski Center.
Make a left turn on Knapp Road and go
approximately 1/2 mile.
The driveway is on the left just before the white house.
