An evening devoted to the Scout Law makes an effective program.  This may be used on a certain evening each week, during the camping season. If careful preparation is given, it will be more effective.  One Law is taken up at a time, and every Scout is prepared to tell briefly the best example he knows of that Law.  He may select his story from history, fiction, the daily paper, or even his own imagination.  Be sure that every Scout contributes something to the discussion; in this lies the greatest value of this program.  It adds to the interest and effectiveness of this program if it can be used consecutively from week to week.  If that is not possible, assign the Laws to groups of Scouts, so that each group is responsible for one or two, or three Laws as the case may be.
