Revolver shot. Target 4 x 4 feet. Bull's-eye 8 inches (counts 4 points). Inner ring 2 feet (3 points). Outer, the rest of the target (2 points). Distance 30 yards.

96 shots divided m any number up to 6 days, one hand, standing, 250 points, for coup. 300 points for grand coup.

Half with left hand only, half with right only, 230 points for coup., 260 points for grand coup.

Rifleman. To be a marksman of the highest rank but one, according to National Rifle Association standards, a coup. To be an expert rifleman of the highest rank, grand coup.

Small bore marksman. Total score of 468 to 509, for coup, on following.

Small bore sharpshooter. Total score of 510 to 554, grand coup, on following.

Expert small bore rifleman. Total score of 555 or better, grand coup on following.

10 shots, slow fire, prone at 50 yards.
10 shots, slow fire, standing at 50 yards.
10 shots rapid fire kneeling from standing at 50 yards.
20 shots slow fire prone at 100 yards.
10 shots rapid fire, sitting from standing at 100 yards.

Rapid fire targets to be fired in 2 strings of 5 shots each. Second string to be fired immediately after the first with no shots at practice targets intervening.

Slow fire stages to be fired in strings of 10 shots.
