False Solomon's Seal, Wild Spikenard, or Zigzag (Vagnera racemosa). United States and south Canada generally. Blooms May to July. Stickweed, Cleavers, or Bedstraw (Galium mollugo). Generally distributed in fields in the Northeastern States. It flowers all summer long. There is a kind with a yellow flower. Pennsylvania or Canada Anemone (Anemone Canadensis). Labrador to the Plains and southward to Kansas on low ground. Blooms all summer..' Wind flower (Anemone quinquifolia). In low woods. General east of the Rockies. One of the early spring flowers. Blooms April to June. Rue Anemone (Syndesmon thalictroides). In woods, Atlantic to Minnesota and south to Kansas. White, but often pinkish. One of the earliest spring flowers. Blooms March to June. |
